Privacy Policy

Information on your device

Alarm times, repeat days, snooze settings, vibration and gradual-volume preferences, and alarm state are stored on your device. We do not upload your alarm schedule to our purchase-verification server. The app also stores Google sign-in session information and a signed Premium access certificate when you use Premium. Clearing app data or uninstalling removes local app data and saved alarms; it does not delete server-held records or cancel a Google Play purchase.

Information used for Premium

• A Google account identifier and its derived account identifier, used to bind a purchase to the signed-in account. You sign in through Google; we do not receive your Google password.
• Google Play purchase tokens, their hashes, product identifiers and purchase, acknowledgment and refund/revocation status, used to verify purchases, restore access and prevent replay or fraud. Our app does not receive your full payment-card details.
• Play Integrity tokens and app, licensing and device-integrity verdicts, used to check that requests come from a recognized app and eligible device.
• Temporary sign-in state, security challenges and session data needed to complete and protect sign-in and purchase verification.

Premium purchase, restore and periodic verification require a network connection. A valid signed certificate allows Premium access offline for up to seven days after a successful check. Expiry of that certificate does not cancel your lifetime purchase; reconnect and restore to verify it again.

Promotional access

If you redeem a promotional code, the app sends the code and a randomly generated installation identifier to our server to validate access and issue a signed certificate. This does not require Google sign-in or a purchase. The app stores the code, installation identifier and certificate locally to refresh access. The server keeps a hash of the authorized code and processes the installation identifier to issue the certificate; it does not keep a redemption history. Promotional certificates allow up to seven days of offline access. Clearing app data removes this local information.

Support and technical information

If you contact us, we process your email address, message and information you choose to provide. Servers and website providers may process IP addresses, connection details and operational or security logs to deliver and protect the service. Do not send passwords, complete card numbers or unnecessary sensitive information.

Why we use information

We use information to operate alarms locally, authenticate Premium requests, verify and acknowledge purchases, restore access, process refunds and revocations, troubleshoot problems, prevent abuse, answer support requests and meet applicable legal obligations. Halloweeny Alarm does not contain advertising, use an advertising ID or include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.

Providers and sharing

Google processes sign-in, Google Play purchases and Play Integrity checks. Purchase tokens, account identifiers and integrity requests are exchanged with Google and our verification service as necessary to provide these features. Hosting and email providers process information needed to deliver the website, verification service and support. These support pages serve fonts locally with the website. We do not sell your personal information or use it for targeted advertising. We may disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to address fraud, security incidents or legal claims. Google's own processing is described in its Privacy Policy.

Permissions and local features

Exact-alarm access schedules alarms; notifications and full-screen intent show ringing controls, including on the lock screen. A foreground media-playback service, wake lock and vibration support audible and vibrating alarms. Battery settings affect background reliability. These permissions are not used to collect microphone recordings, contacts, photos, health information or precise location. Horror sound recordings are bundled with the app.

Cookies and storage

The sign-in service uses a temporary security cookie to protect the browser sign-in flow. These static support pages do not set advertising or analytics cookies. Your browser and Google may manage their own storage or cookies. App storage keeps preferences and access certificates so features can work without a continuous connection.

Retention and deletion

Temporary sign-in attempts and integrity challenges have short validity periods. Purchase ownership, revocation and security records are retained as needed to provide lifetime access, prevent token reuse, handle disputes and meet legal obligations; they do not have an automatic age-based deletion schedule. Failed acknowledgment records are retained for retry and removed when acknowledgment succeeds. Support messages and operational records are kept as needed for support, security or legal purposes. Hosting backups or provider-held records may persist beyond removal from active systems.

You can request deletion of information held by MOBIZOFT using our data-deletion instructions or by emailing us. We may need to verify your identity and may retain limited records where required for legal, transaction or fraud-prevention purposes. Deletion of purchase-linked records can affect restore or access; we will explain relevant consequences when handling your request. Deleting data does not delete your Google account or automatically refund your Google Play purchase.

Security and international processing

Our verification service uses HTTPS, Google authentication, signed access certificates and restricted server access. No system can guarantee complete security. Providers may process information in countries other than your own, subject to applicable requirements.

Your choices and age audience

Standard alarms can be used without Google sign-in. You can manage app permissions in Android Settings and choose whether to use Premium. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion or a copy of your information by contacting app@mobizoft.com. Halloweeny Alarm is intended for adults aged 18 and older. It is not directed to children. If you believe someone under 18 has provided personal information, contact us.

Changes

We may update this policy as features or legal requirements change. We will update the date on this page and provide additional notice or request consent where required.
